A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT

As one season closes with the celebration of our amazing junior players at Moreton City Excelsior FC on Saturday afternoon at Brendale, our senior men will begin the most exciting chapter of our club's history when they commence their campaign in the Australian Championships in Broadmeadow at midday Sunday to be televised live on demand on SBS.

Lining up against interstate heavyweights South Melbourne, Sydney Olympic FC and Broadmeadow Magic, presents us with a fantastic opportunity to showcase the flair, cohesion, and creativity we are renowned for in Queensland and in a few short weeks the journey will continue with three home games where hometown support from our loyal supporters will be pivotal to our chances of victory.

Our 2025 senior NPL team has the unique responsibility of representing Queensland in this inaugural National competition and there is no doubt they will perform with distinction. The belief and momentum which they carry into the early rounds will be of great benefit and with the meticulous planning of the coaching staff, the team is well prepared to further enhance the reputation of our club on the national stage.

This year I have been fortunate enough to receive some individual recognition for contributions to the local game which is humbling and very much appreciated. However, any recognition needs to be equally shared between so many people who have been involved in our clubs during the twenty years I have been involved. There are layers of people who have contributed to the history of ACE FC and Moreton Bay United FC prior to the merger and our major strengths on and off the field have been stability, good planning and great teamwork.

Thank you all for your unwavering loyalty, messages of support and a willingness to be part of something that had been previously unchartered in football in Brisbane. Our club showed tremendous courage and belief to follow this path and the enviable position we are in now is the dividend from that belief and I have no doubt the club will continue to evolve and search for ways to keep improving.

With the backing of the entire club and supporter base, I have no doubt that this campaign will be a huge success and we all look forward to celebrating in unison and creating more magic moments.
